Active Campaign Integration

To integrate your landing page with your Active Campaign account, follow these instructions:

Before starting the integration process, build your landing page and create your landing page form.
You need to integrate this form (located on your Pagewiz landing page) with your Active Campaign account so that leads captured on your landing page are automatically sent to your Active Campaign contact list.

The integration process has two parts: Generating an Active Campaign web form and integrating your landing page with Active Campaign.

Part 1: Generating an Active Campaign Web Form

  1. Log in to your Active Campaign account.
  2. Click Forms => +New Form.

  3. Select an ‘Inline Form’ style, choose ‘subscribe to list’ from the action menu and select your desired list. Once you’re done click 'Create'.

  4. Add and remove form fields until this form has exactly the fields your landing page form has. Once you are finished, click 'Integrate'.

  5. This page shows the source code of the form. Copy the form’s code into a txt file (using Notepad or another text editor) for easy access and go back to your Pagewiz account.

Part 2: Integrating the Landing Page with Active Campaign

  1. Go to ‘Settings’ of your landing page.
  2. Choose ‘Integrations’ from the left menu.
  3. Click ‘Settings’ beside ‘Webhook: Get Leads Directly to Your CRM’.
  4. You can see four tabs: Basic Settings, Default Fields, Form Fields, Custom Fields.
  5. On the ‘Basic Settings’ tab check the “Active” check box to enable lead forwarding from Pagewiz to your CRM and enter the URL found inside the Active Campaign form’s code.

The tab should look like this:

  6. Uncheck all the fields on the 'Default Fields' tab.
  7.  On the ‘Form Fields’ tab, you have an automatically extracted list from your landing page’s form. Take the corresponding names for these fields as shown in the Active Campaign form’s code.

The tab should look like this:

  8. On the ‘Custom Fields’ tab, insert the custom values from the Active Campaign webform code. Insert the values for all ‘type=”hidden” elements, as shown:

The format is key=value&key=value where the ‘name’ on the code will be the key. There must be an ampersand (&) in between custom values.
The tab should look like this:

  9. Save the settings and your integration with Active Campaign should be active.

Test the integration by submitting test data on your landing page. Note that sometimes it takes five to ten minutes for the data to get imported into Active Campaign. You will see your data on your Active Campaign assigned list. To view the data, change the status to 'Any' as shown:
